DCWeek (Digital Capital Week)
About: Digital Capital Week (DCWEEK) is a 10 day festival in Washington DC focused on technology, innovation and all things digital in our nation’s capital. It was modeled after Internet Week NY, Social Media Week, FotoWeek DC and the Fring Festival.
DCWEEK will take place from June 11th to June 20th, 2010.
Mission: The mission of Digital Capital Week is to strengthen the capital region’s digital economy via a 10 day series of events focused on creativity, technology, entrepreneurship, marketing, content creation, and innovation.
Who can participate: Anyone can participate in DCWEEK. Here’s how:
- Host an event
- Participate in an event
- Throw a party
- Lead or join a project
The Organizers: The organizers of DCWEEK are Peter Corbett (twitter) & the iStrategyLabs team, Frank Gruber (twitter) and Jen Consalvo (twitter) of Shiny Heart Ventures.
Over 3,000 peopl are expected to attend more than 100 different sessions, projects and parties.
