New 2009 Advanced Media Database Trainings
Looking to improve your skills on a particular aspect of the media database?
The 2009 advanced media database trainings offer sessions on specific aspects of the system. These sessions are designed for current database users, who have already gone through an intro GMT & Media Database training, who are looking to refine their skills on certain features of the system.
The trainings for January, February, and March will be:
Distributions: A distribution is a piece of communication sent directly from the database to media contacts or their outlets via email, fax, or mailing labels. Learn details on formatting email distributions, the advantages for sending via email or fax, and more
Friday January 23, 2:00 p.m. EST
Adding & Editing Media Contact Profiles: Learn the proper steps for adding in a new contact or editing an existing profile.
Tuesday February 17, 2:00 p.m. EST
Activity Management: An activity is a logged interaction (pitch call, email, fax) with a media contact or outlet, that is kept in the database profiles as an excellent internal tracking feature. Learn how to use this internal tracking feature to keep record of your individual emails and pitch calls, or those of your communications team.
